XAI created child sexual abuse material for Russell Bloodworth (as it has for other perpetrators around the country), using images of children from the Bentonville Community. Bloodworth is responsible for asking xAI’s Grok to make the material, but xAI’s Grok accepted the instructions and created new, original images — on its own — which are unlawful and despicable. XAI bears responsibility for its role in creating the sexual content – and the federal and state statutes at issue protect United States and Arkansas citizens from Grok’s conduct.

CBP has cases on file against xAI for the role it played in creating this material using images of children from the Bentonville community and will continue to put cases on file to seek justice for those children and adults in Arkansas whose images were used by Grok to make pornographic content. Moreover, CBP is filing these cases to STOP xAI from continuing to operatie a model that creates sexual content involving children, and we will keep doing what we can to keep this from happening again.

About Sam Jackson

Sam Jackson joined Carney Bates & Pulliam in 2021 after developing a strong interest in protecting the public as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. As a DPA Sam prosecuted domestic violence and sexual assault cases, where he gained invaluable litigation experience evaluating cases, managing relationships with victims, negotiating cases with opposing counsel, and ultimately trying numerous cases in front of judges and juries. In the high-volume practice, he gained the ability to quickly evaluate evidence and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a case theory. Working to bring justice for victims naturally led him to the firm, where his focus is on consumer protection and data privacy. Sam was actively engaged in his educational communities both at Hendrix (2008) and the University of Arkansas School of Law (2013). He remains engaged, volunteering his time for the tennis community in Little Rock as well as serving on both the Arkansas and Southern Tennis Associations.
