Carney Bates & Pulliam is investigating potentially false statements relating to the sale of alkaline water. Certain brands of alkaline water claim to contain pH levels of 9.5 or higher, but when tested, the water shows a pH closer to 7 – the same level as ordinary tap water. Consumers purchasing these brands may be paying a premium for water that is no different than what they can get from their faucet at home.
If you buy (or bought) alkaline water, you may have a valuable claim.
